At Yulgilbar, the emphasis is on performance in our broodmare band. We understand the importance of genetics and our policy is to use only performed mares. This has consistently produced progeny who are winners and continues our tradition of excellence. Careful consideration is given to bloodlines used within the breeding program and selection of type and conformation are all considerations before a mare gains entry into our elite band of mares.

Yulgilbar Stud has always supplied the Quarter Horse industry with winning show horses excelling in cutting, halter, pleasure, trail and has also produced horses who have excelled in other fields such as hacking, dressage and campdrafting.

Rigid veterinary programmes, ration control and safety measures ensure that all horses receive the best possible attention and top line veterinary care is available on a 24 hour basis should the need arise.
